okeventures was created as a way for people to live their best lives by having a career and traveling when they can.  I noticed that a lot of blogs I liked to read were by people who quit their jobs to travel the world or work completely remotely. I know this isn't a feasible plan for everyone, including myself.  I decided to start okeventures for the people like me. The major aims are to;

1. Educate and inspire people to go on trips and adventures
2. Provide advice that can help college students and young professionals to advance in their careers
3. Put smiles on people's faces

Hey, I'm Oke! I am a chemical engineering graduate of Howard University and I work at my full-time job in the Greater Philadelphia Area. 

I enjoy going on all kinds of trips and I decided to share my views on them in the form of a blog. With this, I hope to inspire myself to explore and enjoy life even more. I won't want to travel around the world full-time at this stage of my life, so I travel in the free time I create. I want to visit as many places as I can but my ultimate dream destination is Australia!

Mixing a regular corporate job with a passion for travel led me to write about both sides of my life, based on my experiences and expertise.
